Payments & apps
A small deposit is only a small number; the route behind it is the same as for any payment, from identity to withdrawal. This section follows that route with modest amounts in mind.
Debit cards sit beside PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Trustly and plain bank transfer. Deposit sites at £1, £5 and £10 get their own treatment, as do instant withdrawals, crypto as a topic and betting apps.
Credit cards have been unusable for gambling since 14 April 2020. Identity is confirmed before the first deposit, however small, and a public-record check is triggered once net deposits exceed £150 within a rolling 30 days. The punter owes no tax on what a bet wins.
